The Vanuatu National Herbarium is a unit of the Department of Forestry (DoF), in Vanuatu’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Fisheries, and Biosecurity (MALFFB). The Index Herbariorum code for this collection is PVNH, and it contains roughly 17,000 specimens.

The Vanuatu National Herbarium recently went through rapid changes, both in staff and facilities. Mr. Presley Dovo is currently serving as Senior Officer for Botany & Conservation, and heading up Herbarium management. Mr. Thomas Doro serves as Herbarium Curator, and Mr. James Ure is the Assistant Curator.
